Dorothy C. Barlow, 89, of Parker City, IN, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Randolph Nursing Home of Winchester, IN. She was born March 9, 1922 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of John and Minnie (Dahl) Vaughan. She was a homemaker. She married Lunes Barlow on January 31, 1942. They moved to Indiana in 1971, where he worked for Ball State University for 10 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory several nieces and nephews; and a special sister-in-law, Betty Vaughan of Wisconsin; two special angels and caregivers, Alice and Paul Franks of Portland, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Lunes (1981); and two brothers, Everett "Wimpy" Vaughan and Donald "Shorty" Vaughan.

A service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery of Maxville, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
