Rosalie "Rose" Billiot, 64, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, died Thursday, April 2, 2009.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off. Religious service will be at noon at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by six sons, Wayne Billiot and wife Janice, Clyde "John" Billiot and wife, Tammy, Daniel "T-Dan" Francis, and wife, Sherry, Patrick "Buck" Billiot, Nicholas "Nick" Billiot, and Roy Billiot; five daughters, Lisa Dean and husband, Robert, Dale Hebert and husband, Louis, Oricia Billiot, Rachel Sampey and husband, Frelan, and Celina "C" Delatte and husband, Keith; two brothers, Whitney "T-Whit" Billiot, and Kalvin Billiot; four sisters, Gayle Billiot, Florena "Florence" Kiger, Laura Matherne, and Patricia "Patty" Huskey; 40 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Billiot; her parents, Edison and Auretia Mobley Billiot; three brothers, Raymond Billiot, Gary Billiot, and Jerry Billiot; one sister, Isabelle "Zob" Billiot; and one grandchild.
