Surviving are one son, William Robert McDonald of Leipsic, IN; two daughters, Patsy Clark and Milly Isom, both of Bedford, IN; one stepdaughter, Elaine Hatfield; three stepsons, Stanley and Glenn Godby and Toby Williamson; three sisters, Frances Cameron, Mildred Arena and Betty Hunter, all of Bedford, IN; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Martin, Walter "Ebie", and Lester McDonald; two sisters, Catherine Sharpe and Juanita McDonald (in infancy); and two grandchildren.
He was a retired tool and die maker at General Motors Powertrain (Central Foundry) and a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. He served as an ordained deacon and Sunday school teacher at Avoca Baptist Church for several years. He was a member of the Bedford Lodge No. 14, F&AM, Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianapolis, United Auto Workers Local No. 440, and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Services for Wilbur McDonald will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 9th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Revs. Jim Woodward, Kenneth Chenoweth and Scott Kuepfer officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
