The marker of his wife is found in this cemetery with "possible" writing on another side - too worn to read what it says. Cemetery records found at the library in Decatur do not indicate his being buried here but his death certificate does.

Anna's death record lists that she's "divorced" at the time of her death which would explain why she's the only person on the marker. I did find a reference to Anna having filed for divorce from Samuel in the Paw Paw "True Northerner" 11/9/1906, pg 3. There is no record in the Michigan Divorces that are available on ancestry.com so it's believed that Anna passed away prior to the divorce being finalized.
