Mrs. Sarah Allen, widow of the late William Allen, died at her home, 651 West Mulberry Street, on Tuesday, this week. Survived by one sister, Mrs. Agnes Ebb and two daughters, Mrs. Agnes Lathem and Miss Gussie Bailey. Funeral will be held on Friday, with Rev. J.A. Holmes officiating. Interment in Laurel Cemetery. The Baltimore Afro American Newspaper, May 10, 1918.
