Services for Mrs. Gladys Crenshaw were held May 2 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers in Alexandria, La. with Rev. Randy Ellis officiating. Additional services were held May 3 at New Haven Baptist Church in Weir. Burial was at New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery in Weir with Rev. Randy Ellis officiating, assisted by Rev. Tim Long under the direction of Oliver Funeral Home in Winona.

Mrs. Crenshaw, 85, of Alexandria, La. died April 30, 2001 in Regional Medical Center.

She was a member of Cloverdale Baptist church in Alexandria, La. and she worked for Baptist Hospital in Jackson for 30 and a half years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Walsie Crenshaw; brother, Seals Holloway; and parents, "Money" and Jessie Holloway.

Survivors include a daughter, Patsy Boykin of Alexandria, La. and one sister, Clara Belle Crowder of Ackerman; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Larry Crenshaw, Paul Mitchell Crimm, Donnie Crowder, Tom Jenkins, C. A. King, Jimmy Holloway.
