Mr. FORGEY was born October 15, 1855 at Avoka, Iowa. He lived for a time in Illinois and then came to Colorado, living for a time in Georgetown. With his wife he came to Routt 40 years ago and with the exception of a short interval this has been their home. For many years they lived near Sidney but for the past several years have lived in Steamboat Springs.
Besides his devoted wife, he leaves two sons, Harper FORGEY of Steamboat Springs and Charles FORGEY of Mt. Harris. Four children have passed to the great beyond.
Mr. FORGEY was a fine neighbor and a good citizen with hosts of friends who will regret his passing and sympathize with the sorrowing family.
