Funeral services for Myrtle McGill Willford, age 104 of Madisonville, are set for 10:00 am., Thursday, March 12, at the Madisonville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Larry Andrews and Sean Callahan, her grandson, will officiate. Burial will be at the Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch. Visitation hours are from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Madisonville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Willford was born on September 10, 1904 in North Zulch, Texas to Robert & Minnie Buckhaults and passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in Madisonville. She grew up in Midway and married Travis McGill. When Mr. McGill died, she moved to Houston and worked at several places including Foleys and retired from Neiman Marcus. She lived in Madisonville since 1973 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Madisonville. Mrs. Willford was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Travis McGill; second husband, Calvin Willford; two brothers, Jack Buckhaults and Mug Buckhaults and a sister, Jewell Hines. She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Gressett of Iola and Mary Cavanaugh of Waller; two grandchildren, Wanda Callahan and Debbie Hunt; three great grandchildren, Sean Callahan, Holly Hunt, Brandon Gray; three great-great grandchildren, Sierra & Paige Callahan and Haydon Gray.
