KNOX -- Amanda Fugate, 13, daughter of Paula Fugate of 6905 E. County Road 250 South and Stanley Fugate of Union, Ill., died at the scene of a train/pedestrian accident that occurred Wednesday at 300 N. County Road 100 West. Starke County Coroner, Howard Bailey, is investigating the accident. Surviving along with her parents are two sisters, Elaine Richie of North Judson and Romona Manns of Grovertown; and two brothers, Raymond Higdon and and Harlem Fugate, both of Knox. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Braman and Son Funeral Chapel, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
