Edward T. Barone, 71, of Syracuse, died Saturday, March 28, at home. A native of Hornell, Mr. Barone graduated from Eastwood High School and attended Le Moyne College. He retired from P&C Foods as store manager; following retirement he was assistant manager of Amerada Hess in Nedrow. Surviving are his wife, Peggy; his daughters, Patricia (Leon) Zubrowski of Waxhaw, NC, and Marlene (Stuart) Rosenberger of Charlotte, NC; his sons, Daniel (Tracy) and Timothy Barone, both of Charlotte, NC; his brothers, Francis (Rosie) of Minoa, Robert (Beverly) of Maryland and John (Patti) of Syracuse; his sister, Sally (Steve) Van Camp of Syracuse; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Church, Syracuse. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. A calling hour will be 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 4845 S. Salina Street.
