Jim has two official death certificates. The earliest certificate # 34003 has death date as 12 Sep 1918 signed by Dr. R May, with the last date seen by him as the same date. Burial date is 13 Sep 1918.

The second certificate #40050 has death date as 16 Oct 1918 signed by MM Cooper (brother). Dr. May last saw him on 13 Oct 1918. He was buried 17 Oct 1918.

Information for birth and death are taken from the first death certificate # 34003

Current funeral director in Wrightwright, Texas believes the discrepancies are from bad record keeping and lack of education. for the time Also may be misinformed doctors and relatives... I do know there was a lot of family trouble after his death. I have the court papers to prove it!! Sad...
