S. A. BRADSHAW OF ST. CHARLES DIES

Had Been Patient Several Years in Winterset Nursing Home

Stephen A. Bradshaw, a patient at the Lane Nursing home in Winterset for several years, died Sunday, May 8, about a week after being moved to the Hall Nursing home in Truro. He was 85 years of age.

Mr. Bradshaw was a life-long resident of the St. Charles community. He was the son of William and Ellen C. Bradshaw, and was born in St. Charles July 23, 1863.

He spent his long, active life in farming near St. Charles. He was married Feb. 18, 1885, to Margaret L. Pomeroy. They were the parents of one son. The wife and mother died many years ago.

He is survived by the one son, W. F. Bradshaw of St. Charles; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services were held from the St. Charles Methodist church last Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Oren Hall. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
