Deputy Sheriff Albert Barrus went with a deputy from Idaho, a few day ago to help bring out the body of Gilbert Austin, about 42, sheepherder.

Austin was found dead in his sheep camp at the head of Elk Creek, and evidence proved he had been killed by lightening. The officers had to travel seven miles on horse back after going up Elk Creek as far as they could go by car.
