This is a memorial to one of my distant cousins, Walter, the son of my great great uncle, Robert Holliday and Amanda Chestnut. I know little about Walter's life except that he was born and died in the Fayetteville area, and was the third of 11 siblings. These siblings are: Robert Jr; Charles; Malcolm; Annie; Henry Floyd; George; Norman; Ralph; Raymond and Lyman. Walter died on Halloween, 1965.

According to his death certificate he was married to Rachel Holliday, who predeceased him.
