Funeral for Mrs. Myers
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Elsinore Ward Chapel for Mrs. Sarah Johnson Butler Myers.
Bishop Leon t. Madsen conducted the services. The opening pray was offered by J.L. Staples and the closing prayer by A.O. Engar. The chorus sang "Beyond Today". Speakers were D.S. Butler, a son of the decease; Joseph Smith and Heber Swindle of Monroe, and Bishop Madsen. A male quartet, composed of Thos. Ransom, Walter Lundgren, Lucian Winget and Lawrence Jones, sang, and the closing number was by the chorus.
Interment took place in the Richfield City cemetery. The grave was dedicated by Benjamin Johnson, a brother of the deceased.
