Hon. Thomas H. Rentz died at his home near Grovania Wednesday morning, January 3rd, 1911 at about 8 o'clock. Mr. Rentz was 62 years of age, one of the most highly esteemed citizens and one of the best farmers of Houston county. In 1909 and 1910 he represented this county in the Georgia legislature, his colleague being Hon. R. N. Holtzclaw of Perry. For a year or more he was in ill health; but became very much improved. Several months ago he married Miss Viola Bunn, younger sister of his first wife....The burial was in the Haynesville Cemetery last Thursday morning. He is survived by his wife and six daughters, Mrs. Bessie Rentz of Ocala, Fla.; Mrs. R. L. Baird, of Grovania; Mrs. W. W. Gresham, of Unadilla; Mrs. Robt. F. Napier, of Hawkinsville; Mrs. J. D. Marshall and Miss Clara Rentz, of Grovania...
