Gladys Eggleston "Mimi" Rogers-Traylor, 98, of Richmond, passed away on March 24, 2009. She was the oldest of nine children born to David and Myrtle Eggleston of Keysville, Va. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jim B. Rogers; and a grandson, Terry Lee Garner.
She is survived by her son, Jim Rogers and his wife, Betty; her daughter, Joyce Garner and her husband, Marvin; her brother, Alton "Bill" Eggleston; her sister, Marion Wilmouth; her grandchildren, Mark Rogers, Robin Caruso and Barry Rogers; and seven great-grandchildren, Kimberly Rogers, Courtney Rogers, Paul Caruso, Christina Caruso, Krissy Garner, Cory Garner and James Michael Rogers.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull St. Rd., where a funeral service will be held, 12 noon, Friday. Interment Dale Memorial Park.
