Nellie Augusta Hawkins, 83, died at 8:03am at the family residence. She was the widow of Lee Hawkins who preceded her in death, May 21, 1928. Her parents were William E. and Margaret Thomas Berry. She was born in Ellettsville, Indiana on August 15, 1887. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Bloomington, and Circle One Club, a church organization. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Betty) Williams, Bloomington; a son, Clinton L. Hawkins, Speedway; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Samuel Berry, Indianapolis.
