Mosley married 9 Jun 1917 in Lelia Lake, TX. Grandparents: Asa Roy and Susanah Hall of KY and Peter James Gosser and Elizabeth Dishene of KY.

George A. C. Roy started preaching in Kentucky in 1882. He brought his family to Collin Co., Texas about 1886. The Pattersons, Sutherlands and the Combest relatives also came from Kentucky at the same time. There are records of Rev. George A. C. Roy in Clay Co., TX, where he was the minister for weddings there. The family also made their home in Cottle Co, Jack Co., and finally settled in Donley, Co. TX.
