The majority of the information provided for this memorial is incorrect. Ardith Allen was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. (James Roscoe) Allen, as is shown on the headstone and noted near the bottom of this memorial. Her mother was Florence Denton--not Frances Mary "Fannie" Denton--as shown. The first ten siblings listed are the children of John Terris Allen and Frances Mary "Fannie" Denton Allen, but Ardith was NOT their daughter, so the following siblings are not hers: Cora Allen Templin (1875-1961); Isaac Oscar Allen (1877-1974); James Roscoe Allen (1879-1968)(NOTE THAT THIS IS HER FATHER); John Balleu Allen (1882-1965); Jennie Alice Allen Wilson (1883-1984); Bessie Valeta Allen (1888-1977); Willie Allen (1888-_____); Vernie D. Allen (1892-1933); Zella Allen Buda (1896-1982); Glennie Hugh-Cecil Allen McClanahan (1899-1967). All these siblings should be removed from her memorial.
