Maxine Lea Hart, 79, of Pocahontas, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at Randolph Home. Born Oct. 2, 1926, in Pocahontas, she was a daughter of the late Mack Evans and Jennie Ola (Jones) Bennett. She was retired from Brown Shoe Co., as a time clerk. She is survived by a son, Larry Kirk, and a daughter, Jennie Lea Dauck, both of Pocahontas; her former husband and friend, Clyde (Al) Hart, also of Pocahontas; three sisters, Hazeldean Starr of Sherwood, Shirley Jane McCray of Ft. Smith and Marian Louise Gazaway of Kansas City, Mo.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Don Strait officiating. Burial followed in Randolph Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Larry Dauck, Brandon Taylor, Shane Kirk, Brantley Massey, Jerry Baker and Cord Rapert. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Pocahontas.
