Oswego Palladium-April 24, 1914
Catherine Bartholomew, wife of Paul Bartholomew, died today at her home, 28 East Eighth street, after an extended illness. Mrs. Bartholomew was a member of the Church of the Evangelists and was well known. Besides her husband she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Edward Schrader of Schenectady; Mrs. Cecil Carmen, Mrs. Harold Batchelor and Miss Marie Bartholomew of this city; four sons, Paul, Jr., of Tacoma, Washington; John, Charles and Harold of Oswego; her father, Conrad Ahart, this city, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Hoyt, Oswego, and Mrs. Anna Lawyer, Syracuse; two brothers, Jacob and John Ahart of this city. The funeral will be held on Monday.
