Obituary Mrs. F. Rosenthal
Mrs. Frances Rosenthal, 82, Town of Grant, died at the Portage County Home at 2:45 a.m. Monday.
Death was attributed to a stroke. She had been a patient at the home for three and one-half weeks.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rosenthal, the widow of Nick Rosenthal, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids.
The Rev. Carl Dockendorff will officiate, and burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery there.
Friends may call at the Ritchay Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, afater 11 a.m. Wednesday. The rosary will be said there Wednesday night at 8.
Mrs. Rosenthal was born at Polonia May 20, 1883, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Steve Zywicki.
She was married in Stevens Point in April 1900, and the couple lived in the Plover area before moving to Grant 55 years ago.
Mrs. Rosenthal's husband died Feb. 17, 1959.
Her survivors include six sons, Anton, Dan, Edward and Stanley, Wisconsin Rapids, George, Sun Prairie, and Steve, North Bend, Ore.; a daughter, Mrs. Craig Corbett, Town of Grant; four brothers, Leopold Zywicki, Manitowoc, Valerian Zywicki, Racine, Sylvester Zywicki 716 Smith St, and Herman Zywicki, a sister, Mrs. John Sherfinski, Wausau; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A son, two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
