Passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 12, 2009 with his family by his side. Survived by his parents, Theodore Sr. and RoseMary Pastore; two sisters, Connie (nee Pastore-Awalt) (Herb) Biggs and Theresa (nee Pastore) (Bob) Kaczmarek; nieces, Jacqueline (Mark) Kaegebein and Allison (Mark) Rutkowski; nephews, Michael Petrusich, Eric (Shelli) Awalt, Brian Petrusich, Steven (Erin) Awalt, Daniel Petrusich, Gregory (Kristen) Petrusich, Matthew (Trisha) Petrusich, Joseph (Tricia) Awalt, James Awalt. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Concetta Pastore; uncle, Nicholas Pastore; and brother-in-law Jack Awalt.
Graduated from Lockport West High School in 1965. Former Crest Hill police officer. Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Service Star and the Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 device.
