Jonathan married 1st Nancy on March 13, 1818 and married 2nd Eliza Jane Sept. 23, 1845.

By his second wife, Eliza Jane Weare, Jonathan had Josiah who was born January 5, 1849. Eiza Jane is the daughter of Timothy Weare. He married Flora B Bacon of Henniker, NH. They moved there in 1877. He and Flora had no children.
