Lois B. Brady, age 87 of Tonasket, died on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001 at the North Valley Hospital in Tonasket.
She was born on Jan. 15, 1914 in Chelan. As a young girl, she lived in Entiat. She also spent time growing up in the Yakima area. As an adult, she lived in Seattle and worked at the Olympic Hotel as a switchboard operator, as well as working with the Liquor Control Board. She and her late husband, Chet, owned and operated a mattress factory and ran a second-hand store in Marysville. She moved to Tonasket in the late 80s and lived there until her death. She cared for her brother Henry, in Tonasket until his death in 1992. Lois enjoyed drives throughout Okanogan County and also enjoyed yard and estate sales.
She is survived by a niece, Micki Susan Jo Faggioli and her two children, Rebel and Jasmine Faggioli.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ida Wilks and three brothers, Jack, Henry and Frank.
Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Bergh Chapel in Oroville with Pastor Claude Roberts, officiating. Interment will follow at the Tonasket Cemetery.
