"Former Linn Resident Dies"
" Leo H. Boes, 65, formerly of Linn, died Monday ( Aug. 16, 1971) in St. Louis. Mr. Boes was born in 1906 at Linn, the son of William and Catherine Boehmer Boes. He was married to the former Frances Riegel of Linn, who survives. He was employed by the Chevrolet Division of the General Motors Corp. for 30 years until his recent retirement. Mr. Boes was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in St. Louis.
Other survivors include; two daughters, Sister Leon of the Sisters of Notre Dame; and Patricia of the home; five brothers - Herbert Boes, 1895 Swifts Highway; John Boes, Montgomery City; Al Boes, St. Louis; Felix Boes, Indianapolis; Linus Boes, Linn; - four sisters - Mrs.Anton Fick, Mrs. Henry Rudroff and Mrs. Al Fick, all of Rich Fountain; and Mrs. Alois Rehagen, St. Louis.
Funeral services will be Thursday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, St. Louis. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, St. Louis.
