Dunlap Rites Held Tuesday

Thomas Madison Dunlap, age 84 years, 11 months and 14 days, passed away November 14 at the family home in Coweta, following a prolonged illness.

Mr. Dunlap, a native of Pulaski County, Missouri, was married to Minnie Jones at Sallisaw, Oklahoma. To this union eight children were born. Four preceded the father in death.

Mr. Dunlap was an agent for the Watkins Products for sixteen years prior to his retirement.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Minnie Dunlap; one daughter, Mrs. Homer Sarty of Coweta and three sons, Jack Dunlap of Tulsa, Thomas J. Dunlap of Coweta and Cpl. Raymond Dunlap stationed near Bryan, Texas.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the chapel at Wright Funeral Home with W.L. Posey, Christian minister officiating.

Mrs. Alvia Carter and W.L. Posey rendered special music with Mrs. Golda Langston as accompanist.

Interment was made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery under the direction of the Wright Funeral Home."
