Ray William Allen, Sr., 92 of Snow,Oklahoma passed away on August 20, 1998, in Antlers. Ray was born on October 10, 1905, in Quinton. He was retired from the State Of Oklahoma, having worked as a painter at the State Capitol for many years. Ray enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. He had lived in this area since 1977. Surviving relatives include one granddaughter, Michelle Allen of Oklahoma City; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Allen; two sons, Ray William Allen, Jr.; and Robert Allen; his parents, Sam and Matilda Allen; and three
sisters, Jane Allen, Ollie Fairchild and Evelyn Osterday. Services were held on Monday, August 24, 1998, at 11:00 a.m., at the Finley Baptist Church. Rev. Bob Luttrell officiated the services. Interment followed at the Finley Cemetery.
