Quinton: Mrs Tilda Allen Smith, 100 an Oklahoma pioneer, died Saturday at a McAlester hospital. A native of Richwood, Ark,. Mrs. Smith came to Oklahoma in 1889 and resided around the Enterprise area. She moved for a brief time to California. Returning to Oklahoma, Mrs. Smith then resided around the Quinton area. Surviving are one son, Ray Allen, Oklahoma City; one daughter, Mrs. E.C. Osterday, Quinton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Graveside, services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Palestine Cemetery located near Enterprise and Quinton under the direction of the Mallory Funeral Home, Stigler.
