Mrs. Mary Ellen Prophet died Wednesday evening at 5:30 at her home, 935 Garfield avenue, aged 70 years. She is survived by eight children; Charles Prophet, William Prophet, Mrs. Nora Jones, Mrs. Roxie Shaw, Miss Vern Prophet, Mrs. Myrtle Conklin, Earl Prophet, and Jess Prophet.
The funeral will be conducted Friday morning at 10:30 from the residence, conducted by Rev. McCoy of the Broadway U.B. Church. Burial will be made in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
