ELOY — L. D. Yarbrough, a resident of 40 years, died Monday at Hoemako Hospital Long Term Care Facility, Casa Grande, at the age of 65. Mr. Yarbrough was born July 20, 1914 in Blue Mountain, Ark. and lived in Arizona about 44 years. He worked as foreman for the Phil Thompson ranches in the Eloy area for some 20 years.
Services for Mr. Yarbrough will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church here with Deacon Harvey Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park Cemetery.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Mr. Yarbrough is survived by his daughter, Barbara Foster, of Chandler; two sons, Jerry Ray of Houston, Texas and Tom of Amado; one brother, Alva of Casa Grande; seven sisters, Opal Amos of Casa Grande, Babe Wagner of Maricopa, Grace Tipton, Lorene Chambers, Ruby Brown, Willeen Sylvester and Betty McDougal, all of Eloy and 10 grandchildren.
