Visitation for Opal Marie Amos, 85, of Eloy, will be held tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cole & Maud Mortuary Chapel. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, also at Cole & Maud Mortuary.
Mrs. Amos was born in Conway County, Arkansas, and moved to Arizona in 1936 from Oklahoma. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Eloy and was a homemaker. She died June 4, 1995 in Eloy.
Mrs. Amos is survived by two daughters, Norma Calvo, of Eloy and Leola Brock, of Overgaard; a son, Melvin H., of Casa Grande; five sisters, Betty McDougal, Lorene Chambers, Grace Tipton, Willene Sylvester and Ruby Brown, all of Eloy; a brother, Alva Yarbrough, of Casa Grande; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
