Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 2, 1987 at the Phillips United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Phillips Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Roy D. Arnett

Roy D. Arnett, the son of Charles and Nancy (Williams) Arnett, was born on May 3, 1898, at Phillips, Nebraska, and passed away at his home in Phillips, Nebraska, on October 29, 1987, at the age of 89 years, 5 months, and 26 days.

He moved with his parents as a teenager to Litchfield, Nebraska, and was employed as a heavy equipment operator in highway construction for the State of Nebraska.

He married Rosa Worley, December 29, 1920, at Broken Bow. They lived in Litchfield where he was employed in highway construction. He retired in 1962, and they moved to Phillips. Mrs. Arnett died April 7, 1985. He married Helen Bode on March 16, 1986, at Phillips.

Roy was a member of the United Methodist Church at Phillips.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Helen of Phillips; and nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Rosa, a daughter Delcia, seven brothers and one sister.
