MANSFIELD -- Ella B. Hoover, 87, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at Crystal Care Center.
Born July 10, 1920, in Webster County, W.Va., she was the daughter of William Tazwell and Estella (Blake) Fisher. Mrs. Hoover enjoyed gardening and flowers.
Surviving are a brother, Ernest (Retta) Fisher; a sister, Zelda Hawk; a stepson, Roger (Linda) Hoover; a brother-in-law, Robert (Clara) Hoover, all of Mansfield; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews including Brenda Sue (Donnie) Surber, Bobby (Carol) Fisher, James and Jerry Lee, Wayne, Terry, Donna, John and Jessie Fisher.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hall Samples; her second husband, Earl F. Hoover; her parents; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors conducted by the Rev. Christopher Thomas. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice and Home Health Care.
