Pauline Mable Allison, 82, of Old McKenzie Highway south of Paris died Wednesday night, Nov. 1, 2000, at her residence.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Eulas Greer and Tim Pafford will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.

Named as pallbearers are Bill, David, Dean and Rusty Turner and Larry and Darryl Allison.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday.

Born at Mansfield on Jan. 11, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Frensley and Mable Carsey Bomar Frensley. She was married Aug. 29, 1957, to Dorris Edward Allison, who survives.

A member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, she was the former owner of Allison's Ceramic Shop, which she operated for many years. She retired from the Holley carburetor plant, formerly of Paris.

In addition to her husband, she leaves a sister, Rubye Turner of Bruceton; one brother, Charles Thomas Frensley of Paris;
Eight nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She also was preceded in death by a sister, Johnnie Carter.
