Funeral services for Charles 0. Keplinger, 79, builder and operator of a flour mill at Zanesville, who died at 2:15 p. m. Friday at his home in Markle, will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday in the Markle Church of Christ with the Rev. Richard C. Burton officiating.Burial will be in the Haverstock cemetery at Zanesville. The body is at the Bailey mor­tuary in this city, where friends may call until shortly before the hour of the funeral.

Mr. Keplinger was born Septem­ber 15, 1871, in Zanesville, to Abram and Margaret Haverstock Keplinger. He married Willa B. Diffendorfer July 4, 1894. Surviving are the widow, two sons, Dorr K. Keplinger and Doff K. Keplinger, both of Markle; four daughters, Mrs. Grace Paul, Mrs. Gresta Schacht and Mrs. Gloria Juillerat, this city, and Mrs. Gwen Funderburg, Markle; 14 grandchildren, a great grandchild and two brothers, Ulysses W. Kep­linger, Berkley, Calif., and Dayton W. Keplinger. Fort Wayne. Six sisters, Mrs. Laura Hamilton, Mrs. Cinderella Wallic, (sic) Mrs. Irene Jacobs, Mrs. Ida Shoup, Mrs. Emma May and Miss Mary Keplinger and two brothers. Jay L. Keplinger and Martin L. Keplinger are dead.

Mr. Keplinger was a member of the Markle Church of Christ. He had been a resident of Markle for the last 30 years having moved there after operating the Zanesville flour mill from 1904 to 1916. His mill manufactured the "American's Choice" brand flour which was distributed in this com­munity for several years following construction of the mill. Mr. Keplinger was road and hauling con­tractor until 1949 when he retired because of failing health. He had been ill for six months and was seriously ill four weeks.
