YOUNT, MRS. BERTHA - Mrs. Bertha Yount, 77, well-known resident of Tipp City, died at 11:25 a.m. Saturday in Stouder Memorial hospital where she had been a patient for five weeks, after suffering a stroke. Mrs. Yount was born Sept. 2, 1884, in Bath county, Ky., the daughter of George and Martha Taylor Shrout Copher. She was married to Noah Yount of Tipp City, who preceded her in death nine years ago. Mrs. Yount was very active in the Methodist church where she was a member of the Wesley Bible class and for many years took an active part in the WSCS work, women's division of the church. She was also a member of the Women's Civic club. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Rosella Michaels, Tipp City, Mrs. Shella Pullins of Dayton; one brother, William Copher of Palmetto, Fla., and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Ray (Julia) Eickhoff of Tipp City is a niece. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the family home on West Main street. The Rev. Clarence Miller officiated. Burial was made in Maple Hill cemetery. Pall bearers were Ray Eickhoff, Ray Pullins, Douglas Michael, Arthur Judd, Homer Reynolds, and Frank Fennell.
