David Henry Huish, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, age 89, passed away August 24, 1995, in Draper, Utah.

Born April 23, 1906, in the Mormon Colonies of Colonia Morelos, Mexico to Lorenzo Snow and Annie E. Broadbent Huish. Married Evah Marie Keil Sept. 14, 1936, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He received his Master's Degree in business from the University of Utah. He worked as a home builder, land developer, and general contractor. Active in real estate and farming. He was an active High Priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Served in the British Mission, three stake missions, and the Georgia/ South Carolina mission. He was charitable to all and had malice towards none.

Survivors: wife; children, Jerry (Kathy) Huish, Joan Perry, Dan Huish, Michael (Cindy) Huish, Edward (Susan) Huish, Carol (Michael) DeFronzo; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Beecroft, Edna Hilton, and Helena Evans.

Funeral services will be Monday, Aug. 28, 12 noon, at the Midvalley 5th Ward, 8050 So. 1100 East. Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, and Monday from 11 to 11:45 at the church. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.

Family wishes to express appreciation for the loving care that was given to David by the Applegate Home Care Nursing, Dr. Vere Lancaster, and by the staff at Draper Rehabilitation Center.
