Among her favorite and greatest moments in life were the times her family gathered around the piano singing. Children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren all took part in these programs.

Zola loved music and had learned to play the piano expertly. She accompanied her father when he sang for K.S.L. Radio programs, funerals, weddings, parties, reunions, and church gatherings.
