Children:
• Rosella "Rosa" "Rose" Denicore Hiter (1862 - 1906)
• Emma Denicore (1868)
• Nelson Peter Denicore (1872 - 1933)
• Eva Denicore LaMora (1875 - 1903)
• Iva Norah Denicore (~1878 - )
• Nina Elizabeth Denicore Williams (1882 - 1948)
Note 1: There is a separate tombstone for Marcel Denicore in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Potsdam, here. That one is a cenotaph. This one is where he was buried.
Note 2: The inscription says "Co. G. 135. N.Y. Vol."
We are convinced that "135" is an error. The 135th NY infantry regiment served as the 6th Heavy Artillery, which has no record of him. However he is recorded in muster rolls of the 153rd NY Infantry regiment.
(His name is recorded variously as Marcell and Marsell, and Denicore, Dinnecore, Danecourt, and Dumacourt.)
