Tuesday evening July 9th at 4 p.m. Mrs. Grace Britt Gerber, wife of Fred Gerber, died suddenly of pneumonia and heart failure after an illness of only four hours. Although she had not been well for some time past, she was not considered sick and was up and around.
She was the daughter of G. F. Britt and Maria Merkley, and was united in marriage to Fred Gerber April 30th, 1907.
The deceased was born in Uintah County, being sixteen years and eleven months at the time of death. The funeral services were in charge of T. J. Caldwell, Jr., of the Maeser Ward bishopric. Words of comfort and consolation were offered to the bereaved husband and parents by the speakers Harden Bennion and Nelson Merkley.
