"The funeral of Mr. Jacob Saum will take place today from Christ Reformed Church, Druid Hill and North Avenues, today (June 20, 1900). Mr. Saum had been a well-known builder in Baltimore for 33 years. He died Sunday of Bright's disease at his home, 2220 Druid Hill Avenue. He was 60 years old and an active member and elder of the Reformed Church. He was a member of the Royal Areanum and Odd-Fellows. He is survived by five daughters - Mrs. James A. Marriott, Mrs. Walter W. Watts, Mrs. Harry W. Kurtz, Misses Kate and Lillie Saum."
