Son of Alva Louis Groves and Ella May Hunt, Glen spent the first decade of his life in Oklahoma, and the family then moved to Pueblo Colorado. He has one brother Olen A (1906-2000)and seven half siblings by Frances Blanche Hayes Groves. He married Pearl Esther Brew and became a ranch foreman in Alliance, Nebraska on the Peterson Ranch, owned by Marice and Janet Peterson. His wife, Pearl was the Ranch Cook. He divorced Pearl, and the last known whereabouts of Glen was in Wyoming, where he died. Pearl re-married John Watson "Jack" STRONG. Glen is buried next to his father Alva Groves in Roselawn Cemetery, Pueblo, Colorado. Pearl is buried next to her second husband in the Alliance City Cemetery in Alliance, Nebraska.
