MAHON RITES SET WEDNESDAY
Irene C. Mahon, 91, of Valliant, died Monday, Oct. 5, in Midwest City. She was born Nov. 18, 1906, in Mississippi.
Mahon had lived most of her life in McCurtain County. She was a retired cafeteria supervisor from Valliant schools, and was a member of Valliant First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Mahon on July 30, 1995.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, J. D. and Patsy Mahon and Jack and Jodi Mahon, all of Choctaw, and Benny and Irene Mahon of Morristown, Ariz.; one daughter, Reva Miller of Choctaw; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Valliant, with the Rev. Glen Dell officiating. Burial will follow in Valliant Cemetery.
