Funeral services for Allen McQuin Bays, 67, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church. He died at his home Wednesday morning, April 28, 1965, of a heart attack.

Born in Okay, Oklahoma, he had lived all of his life in Wagoner County. He retired from the highway department three years ago, after 32 years in the department.

Rev. Glen Smith, pastor, will be assisted by Clifford Cantrell at the services. Survivors are his wife, Nellie; two sons, Bill of Fontana, California, Tom of Broken Arrow; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Lancaster, Lawndale, California and Mrs. Alene Fisher, Wagoner; two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Burkholder, Wagoner and Mrs. Mary Patrick, Muskogee, also five grandchildren.

Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Hersman Funeral Home of Wagoner. Pallbearers are to be Bill Cannon, Albert Jones, Earl Smith, William Whitekiller, Frank Cunningham and George Heath.
