Dewey Maynard, 59, died Wednesday, April 9 at his home in Peru, IN, after a short illness.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Boma Church of God with the Rev. Reed officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery.
He was the son of the late Charles and Sarah Cameron Maynard.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Opal Lowe Maynard of Peru; two daughters, Mrs. Bobbie Jean Sturgill of Tuscon, AZ, and Mrs. Merle Winters of Freeport, IL; a son, Lloyd Maynard of Peru; two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Robinson of Boma and Mrs. Van Myatt of Detroit; four brothers, Fowler Maynard, Larkin Maynard and Dillard Maynard of Boma, and Virgil Maynard of Cookeville, and two grandchildren.
