Services for Dillard Maynard, 95, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Baxter
Funeral Home with Bro. Mont E. Hooper officiating. Burial will be in the New Home
Cemetery in Boma.
Mr. Maynard, of Rt. 1 in Baxter, died Monday in the Masters Health Care Center in Algood.
A native of Putnam county, he was the son of the late Charlie and Sarah Cameron Maynard.
He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Meda Brown Maynard of Baxter; four daughters, Ruth Haggard
and Edna Kurtz, both of Royal Oak, MI, Opal Lowe of Mt. Juliet and Nell Scroggins of
Taylor, MI; three sons,
Clifford Maynard of Hazel Park, MI and Claude Maynard of Royal Oak, MI, a sister,
Florence Robinson of Baxter; a brother, Fowler Maynard of Baxter; 16 grandchildren and 17
great grandchildren.
