Funeral services for Mrs. Olga Egger Barrentine, 88, will be 2 p. m. Thursday at the Eggers Chapel. Burial will be in Egqer Cemetry. Gunter & Holmes Funeral Home in Columbus is in charge of arrangements. The body will lie at the chapel for one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Barrentine died Wednesday morning at her home in Caledonia. She was the widow of the late Lester D. Barrentine and the daughter of the late James B. and Mattie Stevenson Egger, pioneer settlers of Lowndes County.
A retired merchant, Mrs. Barrentine had operated the Barrentine's General Mercantile Store in Caledonia for 60 years.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors Include one sister, Mrs. R. W. Egger, Caledonia and host of nieces and nephews.
