Mr. Benny Swindall, age 71, of Buchanan, GA, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2009 following an extended illness. Mr. Swindall was born on September 25, 1937 in Sinclair Co., AL to the late Franklin Daniel Swindall and Ella Sara Shirley Swindall. He was also preceded in death by five Brothers, Ralph Thomas Swindall, David Marion Swindall, Billy Swindall, Howard Swindall and Edward Daniel Swindall, and His Daughter in Law, Lisa Gable Swindall. Mr. Swindall was of the Baptist faith and attended Valley View Baptist Church. He was retired from the Southwire Company Truck Maintenance Dept. following a number of years of service. He had also worked for the Rome Plow Company for 14 years. He was a loving and devoted, Husband, Father and Grandfather. Benny Swindall is survived by His Wife, Willene Whisenant Swindall, His Son, Harlan Swindall, His Daughters and Sons in Law, Faye Hudgens, Connie and Dennis Boyd, Peggy and Neal Cauthen, Annette and Norman Sadler, Joyce and Mark Hooper and June McBride. He is also survived by His Sisters, Lena Mae Hampton and Hesta Lipscomb, His sixteen Grandchildren, Karen Hudgens, Kim Swindall, Kalem Swindall, Samara Swindall, April S. Hall, Danielle Swindall, Courtney Boyd, Jake Boyd, Andy Cauthen, Megan Cauthen, Jesse Hooper, Lee Hooper, Josh Sadler, Benjamin Ryan Sadler, Derek McBride and Zack McBride, and six Great Grandchildren, Jordan Hooper, Riley Thompson, Casey Sparks, Kendall Kyttle, Trent Barrett and Ansle Hooper. A number of Nieces, Nephews and other Relatives also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Benny Swindall will be conducted on Tuesday, January, 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with the Rev. Joey Martin and Rev. Robert Vines officiating. Interment will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. The following Gentlemen will serve as Pallbearers: Dennis Swindall, Johnny Paul Swindall, James Lipscomb, Kalem Swindall, Ryan Sadler, James Edward Lipscomb, Donnie McKibben and Rev. Donald Oswalt. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
